Working with ResQVision
Camera intelligence for coastal safety
ResQVision develops camera-based video analytics to help coastal safety teams detect activity, track movement and review configured events.
The starting point is a real operational question: what does your team need to notice, who will review an alert, and what response is available?
How the assessment worksOur role
Beach Safety Consultants works with ResQVision through business development and introductions, helping coastal organisations frame an operational question and connect with the technical team.
Where additional beach safety or risk-management advice is needed, we agree that consultancy scope separately.
ResQVision’s role
ResQVision leads the technical assessment, product demonstration and any proposal for a pilot or deployment, including its scope and price.
The coastal operator retains responsibility for reviewing alerts, making decisions and coordinating its response.
A practical example: SAIL
ResQVision’s SAIL case study describes its work with Surf Life Saving NSW, connecting coastal camera observations with alerts, operator review and an agreed response workflow.
Start with one site and one camera view
Assess first. Pilot with a purpose.
- 01 / Define the task
Agree what matters
Identify the event you need to notice, the area to observe, the person reviewing alerts and the response they can initiate.
- 02 / Check suitability
Review the camera view
ResQVision offers a free initial assessment of one camera view and up to 30 minutes of representative, authorised footage, with a written suitability summary and recommended next step.
- 03 / Test in context
Scope a focused pilot
If suitable, agree a separately priced pilot with clear acceptance criteria. It should test the site’s conditions, missed events, false alerts and the review-and-response workflow before wider deployment.
Camera analytics supports human decision-making. It does not replace lifeguards, local risk assessment or an operator’s existing safety arrangements.
Could your camera view be suitable?
Start with your site and the event your team needs to notice. The initial assessment is free; any implementation pilot is scoped and priced separately.
No footage needed to start.
